Southern Italy

The last two weeks I've spent traveling. The first week of travel was in southern Italy. First stop Pompeii followed by Paestum where we saw some of the best preserved Greek temples and had a bonfire on the beach. We also saw the monastery of St. Lawrence and the Castle del Monte. We went to a town on the Adriatic coast called Trani. Otranto and Lecce were small stops along our way. Then the last few nights we stayed in the town of Metera which is a town that was built in a crevasse and most of the original houses were just caves and built extensions of those caves. It was a very beautiful town and we had an incredible meal there lots of variety of antipasta to try.
